Then once the old ceramic tile was removed we inspected the base floor to make sure it was good to go to lay down new unfinished hardwood flooring. Some rooms already had an existing hardwood floor installed so after we installed new hardwood flooring in the areas that had ceramic tile, we then sanded down the new and existing hardwood flooring so everything blended together. We then applied Provincial stain and 3 coats of a high quality, oil based urethane finish. Once the job was done, every room just flowed together, which was what the homeowner was trying to achieve. It looks great!
