We installed unfinished hardwood flooring in the 3 1/4" planking pattern. This is solid oak, select and better hardwood flooring and will last a long time if properly cared for. Once the hardwood floor was nailed down we sanded it smooth and stained it with Walnut stain. After that, we applied 3 coats of a high quality oil based finish that completed the job.
