we had to deal with. There was a significant heighth difference between the existing ceramic tile floor that was in the kitchen and the old Pergo floor they had currently in adjacent areas. So we ripped out the existing Pergo laminate flooring and installed a double layer of subfloor. This allowed us to get almost level with the ceramic tile knowing once we installed our engineered hardwood floor that the two floors would now be level which was a great concern for the homeowners. Engineered hardwood flooring comes in different styles with different installation methods. This customer chose a floating floor type of engineered hardwood floor. No refinishing needed on this job because the hardwood floor was prefinished. No muss, no fuss (well, there was some dust kicked up during installation but very little compared to a site finished hardwood floor).
Boardwalk Floors can install a new floating hardwood floor in your home. Let us be of service to you!
