To bring back the original luster to this existing hardwood floor we had to sand down the surface of the hardwood. Once that was done, we filled any gaps and cracks and did another light sand. Then we applied an English Chestnut stain and 3 coats of a high quality floor finish. The floor now looks new again and should provide years of good wear and reliability!
