In this particular home in Northville we installed solid 3/4" oak hardwood flooring. The hardwood was 4" wide and installed perpendicular to the joists to add stability to the flooring. Once installed, we sanded the hardwood down and applied a custom mixed stain. Then we applied 3 coats of a high quality, oil based hardwood floor finish which will keep your hardwood flooring looking great for years to come.
